I know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but no matter how much you don't want Christmas to start until December, something always draws you in. So...... something to think about while you're gearing up. If this is already your philosophy, made you're with me in wondering what the next right step is. Maybe we could wonder and step together. What do you think?

I am making quite a few more presents this year. I have to be honest though, and say that it's not because I'm being noble... it's because I am flat ass broke! LOL :)
But I like this video. We just had a Family Faith Night at church last night (it's a once a month thing at our church) and our pastor talked about advent and each family got to make an advent wreath :) Blake LOVED it. So I am going to email the link to that video to my pastor :)

i love how the whole water crisis could be paid for without even putting a serious dent in our christmas spending. It's not saying don't do any presents, just NOT SO FREAKIN' MUCH! i'm totally down with that. partly because that's not the point of Christmas but also like Jo, I'm "flat ass broke" :-)
